  • PINELLAS COUNTY Government:  Senior Assistant County Attorney.  The Pinellas County Attorney’s Office seeks an experienced trial attorney to litigate, try and appeal civil actions before the Circuit and Federal Courts.  This position involves handling litigation involving the County and Constitutional Officers in one or more of the following areas:  torts (personal injuries/wrongful death); employment matters; construction; real estate-related matters; or civil rights.  The successful candidate will be expected to work with other trial attorneys in a team approach, and provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced trial attorneys.  Minimum qualifications include admission to the Florida Bar and five (5) years prior professional experience as an attorney.  At least five (5) years first chair civil trial responsibilities and Board Certification in Civil Trial Practice or City, County and Local Government Law are preferred.  Salary range:  $87,635 - $131,453.  Salary will depend on qualifications.  Send or email resume with trial history summarizing cases tried by the applicant in the last five (5) years, and references to James L.   • PINELLAS COUNTY Government:  Assistant County Attorney.  The Pinellas County Attorney’s Office seeks an experienced attorney to litigate, try and appeal civil actions before the Circuit and Federal Courts.  This position involves the handling litigation involving the County and Constitutional Officers in one or more of the following areas:  torts (personal injuries/wrongful death); subrogation claims; real estate-related matters, including foreclosures; collections; and other civil litigation as assigned by the County Attorney.  Minimum qualifications include admission to the Florida Bar.  At least two (2) years civil trial experience is preferred.  Salary range:  $57,721 - $86,582.  Salary will depend on qualifications.  Send or email resume and references to James L.
