The Executive Council of the City, County and Local Government Law Section of the Florida Bar will award a maximum annual grant of $10,000. This grant will be awarded to professors at universities and colleges who seek to create programs that will afford students an incomparable opportunity to view firsthand and gain insight into the practice of local government law beyond what is traditionally offered at a college or university.
Professors, who are unable to offset special costs and expenses of a course or other academic program relating to the operation or practice of City, County, or local government law, are eligible to apply for this grant. Furthermore, this grant may be used to offset special costs and expenses of students who are Florida residents and demonstrate financial need.
