Michael S. Davis

MICHAEL S. DAVIS is a member of the Bryant Miller & Olive, P.A. law firm, where his practice includes all aspects of city, county and local government law, litigation in State and Federal Court, and utility law. Mr. Davis served as Legislative Assistant to State Senator Henry B. Sayler in the Legislative session in 1967; City Attorney of St. Petersburg, 1981-2000; and served as Interim County Attorney of Desoto County, 2002. Mr. Davis has been Board Certified by the Florida Bar in City, County and Local Government Law since 1998. Mr. Davis is a frequent lecturer at the Florida Municipal Attorneys and International Municipal Lawyers Association educational conferences, and in 1994, was recipient of the Paul S. Buchman Award for Florida's Outstanding Municipal Attorney of the Year in 1994. Mr. Davis received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Stetson University in Deland, Florida, 1967.
