Judith E. Secher
JUDITH E. SECHER is the Police Legal Advisor for the Miami-Dade Police Department, assigned to the Legal Bureau Forfeiture section. She has been a practicing attorney in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties since 1982. Her prior legal experience includes six years as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Miami, assigned to the Miami Police Department, and service as a prosecutor with the Dade County Office of the State Attorney. She has been a frequent lecturer on asset forfeiture, and has been involved in forfeiture training with both law enforcement and attorney organizations on both the state and federal level. She is a past president of the Florida Association of Police Attorneys. Ms. Secher is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Emerson College, and the University of Miami School of Law.
