H. Hamilton Rice
H. HAMILTON "CHIP" RICE practices in the areas of local government and administrative law and general litigation. Mr. Rice is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and in City, County and Local Government Law. He is also a Florida Bar-certified civil mediator. Mr. Rice is admitted to practice before the courts in Florida and Kentucky and all federal courts. Mr. Rice is the recipient of the Florida Bar Ralph A. Marsicano Award for significant contribution to local government law in Florida (1997); the Paul S. Buchman Award for outstanding public service (1996); Florida Association of County Attorneys President’s Award for most outstanding county attorney (1996); and Local Government Law Award for Local Government Ethics (1992). Mr. Rice received his B.A. in 1957 from the University of Kentucky and his J.D. in 1963 from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
