James J. Brown

JAMES J. BROWN , the Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund Professor and 2006 recipient of the Ralph A. Marsicano Award, has been a professor of law at Stetson University College of Law since 1981, having entered teaching in 1970. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the Ohio Bar. In The Florida Bar, he was an Executive Council member of the City, County and Local Government Law Section, and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. He earned a B.S. from the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from Cleveland State University College of Law, and an LL.M. from Washington University School of Law, St. Louis, Missouri. Professor Brown is an author, editor and lecturer.
