Alan S. Zimmet

ALAN S. ZIMMET is General Counsel for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority and City Attorney for the Cities of Safety Harbor and Largo. He is a trained arbitrator, Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and Middle District of Florida Mediator, and has an extensive litigation practice. Mr. Zimmet is board certified in City, County, and Local Government Law by the Florida Bar. Mr. Zimmet has written articles for and spoken to organizations such as the Florida League of Cities, the Public Risk and Insurance Management Society, State of Florida Division of Elections, the Public Risk Management Association, the National Institute of Municipal Law Offices, Stetson Law School and at Florida Bar seminars. Mr. Zimmet received his J.D. cum laude from Franklin and Marshall College.
